Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and deployment solutions.

The candidate should have strong expertise in DevOps tools, cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and delivery practices. The role requires close collaboration with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Implement and manage DevOps solutions using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, or equivalent monitoring solutions.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, secrets management, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to deployments, cloud infrastructure, networking, containers, and application performance.
• Optimize infrastructure utilization, scalability, availability, and cloud costs.
• Establish and maintain version control, branching strategies, release processes, and configuration management standards.
• Implement high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to streamline software delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers, establish technical best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational guidelines.

Required Technical Skills

• DevOps & CI/CD: Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Cloud Platforms: Practical experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or OCI; knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, and security.
• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container lifecycle management.
• Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell scripting.
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of Git, Git workflows, branching, merging, and release management.
• Operating Systems: Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills; Windows Server experience is an advantage.
• Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, or equivalent observability platforms.
• Networking & Security: Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, firewalls, TLS certificates, IAM, and network security.
• Build & Artifact Management: Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory, or similar tools.
• Reliability Engineering: Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.

Experience and Qualifications

• 10-12 years of overall experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade DevOps solutions.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in complex environments.
• Experience managing production infrastructure and troubleshooting critical technical issues.
• Ability to work independently, lead technical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Good to Have

• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, Snyk, or Checkov.
• Familiarity with AIOps, platform engineering, and self-service infrastructure automation.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
