Job summary

Finastra is looking for an experienced DevOps or Cloud Engineer with 6-10+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure, AWS, or GCP, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Your role will involve developing CI/CD pipelines, designing cloud architecture, and ensuring the overall security and reliability of cloud environments. Experience with Kubernetes and observability tools will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• 6-10+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Role & responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 6- 10+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering / Cloud Engineering

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
• Deep understanding of:
  • Load balancers, API gateways, WAF
  • Private endpoints, VNet/VPC design, subnetting, routing
  • Identity & access models (RBAC, IAM)
• Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, etc.)
• Strong experience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Platform & Cloud Engineering

• Experience with Kubernetes / container platforms (AKS/EKS/GKE) or VM-based architectures where appropriate
• Strong understanding of multi-environment and landing zone design
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance patterns

Scripting & Automation

• Proficiency in at least one: Python, Bash, PowerShell
• Ability to build automation beyond basic scripting (tooling + orchestration mindset)

Observability & Reliability

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
• Understanding of SRE principles (incident management, SLOs, SLIs)
