Job summary

Euphoric Thought Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the reliability and scalability of our cloud environments.

You will collaborate with software developers, product managers, and security teams to bridge development and production, driving automation and resilient operations. You will design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage Docker/Kubernetes deployments, apply Terraform IaC, and automate tasks with Ansible and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale AWS cloud environments and cost optimization.
• Hands-on design and maintenance of CI/CD workflows with Jenkins for high-traffic apps.
• Proficient scripting in Python for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency with Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.

Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will serve as a cornerstone of our engineering team in Bangalore, taking ownership of the end-to-end reliability and scalability of our cloud environments. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and security teams to bridge the gap between code development and production deployment. Your daily efforts will directly influence the stability of our platforms, ensuring that our infrastructure is not only resilient but also highly automated to support rapid business growth and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery cycles and ensure consistent deployment quality across environments.
• Manage and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to optimize resource utilization and application performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure environment consistency and enable rapid provisioning of cloud resources.
• Automate routine operational tasks and configuration management using Ansible and Python scripts to reduce manual overhead and human error.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health and security posture within AWS to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for cloud-native development, ensuring high standards of security and operational excellence.

Required Skillset

• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale cloud computing environments on AWS, with a deep understanding of cloud architecture and cost-optimization strategies.
• Proven ability to design and maintain complex CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, ensuring seamless integration and delivery for high-traffic applications.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, with a focus on building reusable tools that enhance team productivity.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-discipline and a proactive approach to team collaboration.
• A minimum of 7 - 8 years of professional experience in DevOps and infrastructure engineering roles.
