Arctic Wolf is seeking a Senior Developer to build and support the Aurora Platform. This role involves resolving complex technical issues, deep troubleshooting of diverse systems, and collaborating with R&D teams. Ideal candidates should have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience and be proficient in multiple operating systems and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in software development or related role.
• Experience in multi-platform OS environments (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Proficient in observability tooling such as Elastic Stack and Kibana.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with databases and data platforms like MS SQL, MySQL, Athena, and Databricks.
• Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to use ticketing and collaboration tools like Zendesk and Jira.
• Experience with memory dump and performance analysis tools, specifically WinDbg and ETW/XPerf.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.

Job description

Senior Developer 2 – join Arctic Wolf to help end cyber risk through building and supporting our Aurora Platform and other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive complex, escalated issues from intake through resolution
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting across software, cloud, and infrastructure layers
• Analyze logs, metrics, and telemetry across distributed systems
• Perform advanced debugging, including: Application and service log analysis, Memory dump and crash analysis (e.g., WinDbg), Performance tracing and system‑level diagnostics, Reproduce issues by building scripts, automation, and test environments
• Work across AWS, Azure, and local environments supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Partner with R&D teams to log high‑quality defects, provide reproduction data, and propose fixes
• Submit and review pull requests for fixes, observability improvements, and tooling
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation and process improvements
• Collaborate with Support, Product, Problem Management, and Principal Engineers on large‑scale investigations
• Contribute feedback to architectural designs, diagnostics strategy, and data flow improvements
• Document findings, workflows, and technical learnings to improve operational maturity.

Experience & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 10 years in software development or related role.
