Job summary

Anveta Manpower Solutions seeks a Senior Developer – IBM Integration / API Management in Chennai to lead API development and enterprise integration projects. You will leverage IBM DataPower, APIC and ACE to design, implement and govern APIs, with focus on security, performance and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM integration tools, API governance and containerized deployments. Work from office in Chennai with flexibility to support shifts when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or MCA; AICTE-recognized institute.
• Strong hands-on IBM DataPower, APIC and ACE experience mandatory.
• Experience with containerized deployments and enterprise integration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain APIs, integration frameworks and generic functionalities.
• Develop and maintain API Gateway and DataPower solutions.
• Work on MPGW, GatewayScript, XSLT, UDPs and API policies.
• Manage API/product lifecycle states including published, deprecated and retired.
• Administer the IBM APIC Developer Portal, including applications, subscriptions and custom configurations.
• Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations and message transformations.
• Work with ACE, CP4I and OpenShift for containerized deployments.
• Integrate MQ, Vault and ELK into enterprise integrations.
• Troubleshoot production and product-level issues and ensure governance compliance.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer – IBM Integration / API Management with strong hands-on expertise in IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect (APIC), and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE). The candidate will be responsible for API development, integration, governance, security, production support, troubleshooting, and enterprise integration frameworks.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataPower and its advanced functionalities
• Strong expertise in IBM API Connect (APIC) including API lifecycle management and version compatibility
• Strong knowledge of IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), preferably on containers
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway, MPGW Gateway Script and XSLT
• Experience developing and maintaining UDPs, policies and reusable generic functionalities
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP architectures and JSON XML transformations
• Strong Java knowledge, including cryptography and CRUD operations
• Experience with IBM CP4I and OpenShift
• Experience with integrations such as IBM MQ, Vault and ELK
• Experience in APIC Developer Portal administration, applications, subscriptions and custom configurations
• Experience troubleshooting production and product-level issues
• Strong understanding of API governance, security and lifecycle management

Certification – Mandatory

Candidate must hold any one of the following IBM certifications:

• IBM Certified Developer – ACE
• IBM Certified Solution Implementer – API Connect

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through VA/PT, IS and regulatory audits.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Perform unit testing and provide test results as part of release documentation.
• Maintain requirement traceability and support audit readiness.
