Outworx Solutions in Pune seeks an experienced Application Developer – IBM DataPower to design, configure and support DataPower services across MPG, WSP, and REST APIs. You will join a team delivering enterprise integration solutions with a focus on security and reliability.

The role requires 3–8 years of hands-on DataPower work, CI/CD in DevOps environments, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with architects and backend teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support DataPower services (MPG, WSP, REST APIs).
• Develop and integrate SOAP and REST APIs with backend systems.
• Implement IBM MQ integration including asynchronous messaging and error handling.
• Configure security: TLS/SSL, OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth, certificates and key management.
• Perform hands-on development using XSLT, XQuery, XPath, JavaScript, and IBM DataPower configurations.
• Manage DataPower deployment, configuration, migration, and promotion across environments.
• Integrate DataPower deployments with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve DataPower production issues with root cause analysis.
• Work with Solution Architects, Backend, Integration, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions.
• Ensure coding standards, security policies, performance requirements, and best practices.
• Monitor, logging, performance tuning and optimization of IBM DataPower services.
• Participate in design, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer – IBM DataPower with 3–8 years of hands‑on experience in IBM DataPower development, integration, configuration, and production support.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in DataPower Multi‑Protocol Gateway (MPG), Web Service Proxy (WSP), REST APIs, SOAP services, IBM MQ, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, JavaScript, API security, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support IBM DataPower services, including Multi‑Protocol Gateway (MPG), Web Service Proxy (WSP), and REST APIs.
• Develop and integrate SOAP and REST APIs/web services with backend and enterprise systems.
• Implement and support IBM MQ integration, including request/reply, asynchronous messaging, error handling, and message processing.
• Configure and implement security mechanisms including TLS/SSL, OAuth, JWT, Basic Authentication, certificates, and key management.
• Perform hands‑on development using XSLT, XQuery, XPath, JavaScript, and IBM DataPower service configurations.
• Manage DataPower deployment, configuration, migration, and promotion across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Integrate DataPower deployments with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve DataPower production issues, including root cause analysis and permanent remediation.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Backend Developers, Integration Teams, QA/Test Teams, and DevOps teams to deliver integration solutions.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, integration best practices, and performance requirements.
• Perform monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and optimization of IBM DataPower services.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Preferred Experience

3–8 years of overall experience in IBM DataPower development and integration.

Strong hands‑on experience in enterprise application integration and API management.

Experience working with Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Good understanding of enterprise security, authentication certificates, and secure API communication.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex production issues.
