Job summary

Assembly seeks a Senior Graphic Designer to lead a growing design team supporting global brands across packaging, digital, print, localisation, and ecommerce adaptation projects. The ideal candidate balances hands-on design with leadership, ensuring quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.

You will mentor designers, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with international teams, while upholding high creative standards and process improvements in a fast-paced agency setting.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of design experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers.
• Agency experience preferred.
• FMCG, packaging, retail, or adaptation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of designers and visualizers.
• Review work and ensure high creative and production standards.
• Manage workload allocation and project prioritisation.
• Act as the primary escalation point for design-related challenges.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Account Managers, and international stakeholders.
• Guide the team through complex briefs and ambiguous requirements.
• Support onboarding, training and development of new team members.
• Drive process adherence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Remain hands-on with key projects when required.

Overview

We are looking for Senior Graphic Designer to lead a growing design team supporting global brands across packaging, digital , print, localisation , and adaptation projects in e-commerce . This role combines hands‑on design leadership with team management. The ideal candidate is a strong designer, effective mentor, and reliable decision-maker who can balance quality, timelines, stakeholder expectations, and team development in the field of digital commerce.

Responsibilities

• 4–6 years of design experience
• Previous experience leading or mentoring designers
• Agency experience preferred
• FMCG, packaging, retail, or adaptation experience is a plus
• Lead and oversee a team of designers and visualizers
• Review work and ensure high creative and production standards
• Manage workload allocation and project prioritisation

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma
• Strong visual design, layout, typography, and branding skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment
• Ai knowledge
• Motion Graphics (not mandatory but will be helpful)
