Job summary

SiFive India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Build Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the Verification Platform build system across Design Verification teams.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering groups to shape scalable build pipelines, integrate Wake language workflows, and promote best practices in hermetic builds. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in scripting and solid experience with production-grade build systems.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining production build systems.
• 5+ years software engineering in at least one scripting language.
• Familiarity with Wake or functional programming languages.
• Understanding of hermetic build systems like Bazel, Buck.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and flows for Design Verification.

Job Description

Join SiFive’s Design Verification Infrastructure team to develop and maintain the Verification Platform build system used across SiFive. An ideal candidate will have experience architecting complex build systems for large software organizations. You will be expected to collaborate with multiple teams to shape the build system for Design Verification and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform build system to provide a common infrastructure that scales with the growth of SiFive for Design Verification and other verification and validation activities
• Develop Verification Platform tools, build flows, and methodologies to support end-to-end flows used by Design Verification and other verification and validation teams
• Develop Verification Platform build recipes in the Wake language
• Educate the Design Verification and other verification and validation teams on best practices and how to achieve them with the Verification Platform

Requirements

• Build system architecture, development, and maintenance in a production environment
• Software engineering with 5+Years of experience in at least one scripting language
• Desired: Experience with Wake or functional programming languages
• Understanding of hermetic build systems like Bazel, Buck, etc.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and flows for Design Verification
