Job summary

Isprava Group in Mumbai seeks a Senior Design Manager – Architect with 10+ years of luxury residential architecture experience. This role focuses on architectural design, planning, and execution, excluding interior design.

The candidate should lead projects, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Indian codes and Isprava standards. Core requirements include a B.Arch., onsite experience, and strong proficiency in SketchUp and Revit.

Qualifications

• B.Arch. degree is mandatory and required.
• Master's degree in Architecture or Urban Planning is an advantage.
• Experience in luxury villas, bungalows, residential developments, or real estate architecture preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural planning, design development, and execution.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Revit and USGBC is an advantage.
• Prior onsite experience is preferred.
• Experience managing architectural consultants and project teams.
• Strong understanding of Indian building codes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, plotting, and master planning activities.
• Ensure design quality, timely delivery, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with sales teams, project managers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage project kickoff meetings and weekly design review meetings.
• Review consultant drawings and deliverables across project stages.
• Provide constructive feedback and ensure alignment with project standards.
• Ensure compliance with Isprava’s planning, design, and implementation standards.
• Prepare feasibility reports, design proposals, presentations, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and other consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Indian building codes, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor design quality and construction progress.
• Provide technical guidance and practical design solutions to site and construction teams.
• Oversee snagging, final inspections, and project completion prior to handover.
• Identify and resolve design related challenges proactively.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Design Manager – Architect with 10+ years of architectural design experience, preferably in luxury residential villas, bungalows, and real estate projects.

This role is strictly focused on architectural design, planning, and execution. It does not include interior design responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong architectural background, project leadership experience, and prior exposure to site coordination and real estate development.
