We are seeking a Senior Design Manager - Architecture to join our architectural design team for a large-scale commercial and mixed-use development comprising a shopping mall, hotel and office buildings.

The role involves leading architectural design development, technical design and multidisciplinary coordination across all project stages, from concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction documentation. The successful candidate should have substantial experience in an architectural design consultancy, with proven capability in managing the design and delivery of large-scale commercial buildings.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing complex architectural design packages, driving design solutions, coordinating with multidisciplinary consultants and ensuring design quality, technical compliance and timely delivery. Strong expertise in building architecture, design management, BIM, Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural design development for large-scale commercial and mixed-use buildings.
• Oversee building planning, floor plates, cores, vertical circulation, BOH, service areas and façade/building envelope strategies.
• Drive architectural design development and evaluate design options to achieve functional, technical and aesthetic objectives.
• Manage architectural deliverables from concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination with structural, MEP, fire and life safety, façade, landscape and specialist consultants.
• Review architectural drawings, models and technical documentation for design quality, coordination, constructability and compliance.
• Resolve complex architectural and technical issues in coordination with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
• Ensure architectural design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with BIM teams to review and manage architectural Revit models, BIM deliverables and ACC workflows.
• Provide technical direction, design guidance and mentorship to architects and project teams.
• Monitor project deliverables, design coordination, resources and programme requirements.
• Support client meetings, design reviews and technical presentations as required.

Candidate Profile

• B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognised institution.
• 7-10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Substantial experience in an architectural design consultancy.
• Proven experience in the design and delivery of large-scale commercial, mixed-use, office, hotel or shopping mall projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial architecture, building planning and base-building design.
• Experience managing architectural design development, detailed design and construction documentation.
• Strong knowledge of structural, MEP, façade, fire and life safety and building-services interfaces.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design coordination and manage external consultants.
• Good working knowledge of Revit, BIM coordination and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Strong design management, technical problem-solving, communication and team leadership skills.
