Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Bengaluru, India seeks a seasoned Structural Lead to drive design and engineering for water infrastructure projects. You will lead structural design, review RCC and steel structures, and ensure compliance with IS Codes and project specs.

Collaborate across civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural teams, conduct site visits, solve construction-stage issues, and deliver safe, reliable structures for tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations and treatment facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and engineering activities for the KPMU project.
• Review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
• Design and review RCC and steel structures, including water tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plant structures, buildings and other associated structures.
• Carry out structural analysis and design using relevant design software and applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions prepared by consultants/contractors.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural and other design teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical solutions for structural issues encountered during construction.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
