Job summary

Surbana Jurong, Bengaluru Global Design Centre, seeks a Senior BIM Associate – Structures L1 to deliver high-quality structural BIM models for Buildings and Infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, ensure BEP and ISO 19650 compliance, mentor junior modellers, and support international project delivery from Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in Structural BIM modelling for Buildings/Infrastructure.
• Strong RC and structural steel modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality 3D structural BIM models using Revit.
• Prepare BIM models, drawings, schedules and documentation for projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, MEP teams to resolve clashes.
• Produce GA drawings, reinforcement detailing and structural docs from BIM.
• Support clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BEP, ISO 19650, and project guidelines.
• Maintain model accuracy and data integrity throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior modellers and coordinate with global project teams.

Job Description – Senior BIM Associate – Structures L1

Location: Bangalore Experience: 5–8 Years Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality 3D Structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project and company standards.
• Prepare structural BIM models, drawings, schedules, and documentation for Buildings and Infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers, Architects, MEP disciplines, and BIM teams to resolve design and clash issues.
• Produce General Arrangement (GA) drawings, reinforcement detailing, sections, elevations, and structural documentation from BIM models.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings and support clash detection using Navisworks or similar software.
• Ensure BIM models comply with client requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and project-specific modelling guidelines.
• Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support BIM Leads in model federation, coordination, quality reviews, and digital delivery activities.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with project standards and company QA/QC procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of BIM workflows, templates, families, and best practices.
• Mentor junior BIM Modellers and Associates by providing technical guidance and reviewing model quality.
• Coordinate with global project teams to support successful delivery of international projects.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in Structural BIM Modelling for Buildings and Infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete (RC) and structural steel modelling.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary and international engineering projects is highly desirable.

• Experience working in a Global Design Centre (GDC) environment supporting international clients.
• Exposure to digital coordination, clash detection, and model validation processes.

Role Summary

The Senior BIM Associate – Structures L1 will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural BIM models and construction documentation for Buildings and Infrastructure projects.
