Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design and coordination for urban infrastructure projects, including water supply facilities.

You will review and prepare RCC and steel designs, perform analysis with IS codes, coordinate with multi-discipline teams, conduct site visits, and ensure compliance with standards during construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural design and analysis for urban infrastructure projects.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams to achieve integrated solutions.
• Knowledge of IS codes and project specifications used in structural design.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and engineering activities for the KPMU project.
• Review and prepare structural designs for water supply and other urban infrastructure structures.
• Design and review RCC and steel structures, including water tanks, reservoirs, pumping stations, treatment plant structures and related buildings.
• Carry out structural analysis and design using relevant design software and IS codes and project specifications.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical submissions prepared by consultants/contractors.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, architectural and other design teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Review structural drawings and provide technical inputs during design development and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical solutions for structural issues encountered during construction.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
