Senior Design Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

Job summary

Lektus Infrastructure (India) is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to develop detailed construction documents for stormwater design, subdivisions, site layouts, SWPPP, grading, drainage, water and sewer systems.

You will use Civil 3D and AutoCAD to design site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, surface modelling, and analysis, taking ownership of land development projects and ensuring quality control.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in civil engineering is required.
• Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Experience in Land Development and Civil Design projects from USA or Europe.
• Highly skilled in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil-3D.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proven proficiency in written and oral communication.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, site planning and design terminologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction documents for Stormwater Design, Subdivisions, Commercial Site layouts, Preliminary Plats, SWPPP, Grading, Drainage, Water, and Sewer Systems.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other analysis/modelling software for design tasks including site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, surface modelling, and analysis.
• Organize and execute the preparation of base drawings, plans, and exhibits using CAD.
• Take ownership of land development projects, overseeing master-planned communities, residential and industrial developments, and mixed-use retail projects.
• Perform QA/QC of models and sheet files to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop project budgets and timelines, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to ensure project success.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new technologies or methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and enforce engineering standards and procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality outcomes across projects.
