Job summary

PFS Engineering seeks a senior Civil Engineer in Bangalore to lead design and drafting activities. The role focuses on Civil 3D design, 3D modeling, and preparation of design basis and drawings, with emphasis on accuracy and schedule adherence.

The candidate should have strong proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, plus Navisworks for clash detection and coordination. Experience with earthwork, grading, and surface drawings is essential for project delivery.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Should have knowledge in Civil engineering including preparation of Design basis, drawings, calculation reports etc.
• Study of Client Specification, Standard or available Drawings, & 3D model using Navisworks
• Thorough understanding of scope, evaluates efforts, review of inputs & adhere to the schedule
• Must have design experience on Civil 3D
• Experienced with developing existing grade contour drawings, developing rough grading and final grading plans.
• Experience establishing plant benchmarks and converting between latitude/longitude, state plane, and plant coordinates.
• Experience generating final surface treatment drawings.
• Experience with developing earthwork material cut and fill quantities.
• Experience with developing Erosion and Sediment Control drawings and Stormwater Pollution Preventions Plans (SWPPP) for permitting
• Experience with Stormwater Management Calculations and sizing large secondary containment structures including earthen berms and mechanically stabilized earth walls.
• Experience with roadway layouts and generating roadway profiles from Civil3D.
• Must be proficient with using Navisworks, AutoCAD
• Proficient with American codes and standards.
• Reviewing & approving the work done by subordinates
• Should have experience in handling the drafting team, to check the drawings for quality deliverables
• Proficient in both Imperial & Metric Units
