Job summary

Sidel is seeking a Senior Design Engineer in Pune, Maharashtra, to design machines that meet customer specifications. You will manage machine order fulfillment while ensuring adherence to technical and budgetary standards. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in mechanical industries, preferably with liquid packaging machinery, and strong communication skills for multitasking on various projects. Travel for training may be required depending on project demand.

Job description

In collaboration with the mechanical team, the engineer will design the machines in respect of customers' requirements.The Senior Design engineer will be part of the engineering team in the technical mechanical department, managingmachine order fulfillment. This position will have a specific focus on the following activities: - Technical specificationanalysis and project definition - CAD designs productions - BOMs production - Follow up of all the activities related tothe project to respect the delivery date.

Your Mission

• Design Sidel machines in conformity with the specifications.
• Conduct modification’s studies of technical solutions.
• Respect technical and budgetary rules for a project.
• Ensure the implementation, tracking and continual improvement of reference files.
• Parameters calculations frequently used in the mechanical design.
• Identify bottlenecks and act proactively to find solutions in a timely manner.
• Good communication skills and ability to work on different projects at the same time – flexibility.

Your Profile

• Experience: At least 8-12 years of experience in the field of mechanical industries.
• Experience with liquid packaging machinery or special purpose machines is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for onsite training (Optional, truly based on the project demand)
