Job summary

Wenger & Watson in Bengaluru, India, seeks a hands-on BIW engineer with automotive experience to lead design and development of body-in-white components such as bonnet, fender, doors, tailgate and panels. You will work with Catia-V5 for surface modelling and contribute to DFx and homologation activities.

The role requires strong communication skills and collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure quality and producibility across OEM processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BIW project experience is essential.
• BIW design and development skills for car body components.
• Proficiency in Catia-V5 surface modelling.
• Experience in DFx (design for manufacturing, assembly, serviceability).
• Knowledge of homologation, tooling, joineries, fixings, materials, OEM processes.
• Strong communication skills.
