Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital Limited in India is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to translate business problems into data science tasks and lead a team of analysts. You will build statistical models using R/Python/Spark/Databricks and collaborate with policy, credit, collections and operations teams.

The role requires mentoring capabilities, strong coding skills in R/Python/SAS, and a solid mathematical foundation in ML algorithms. Master’s in a quantitative field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Understand business deeply and translate problems to data science tasks.
• Mentor and train data scientists, analysts.
• Brainstorm, research and implement AI/ML algorithms.
• Build statistical models using R/Python/Spark/Databricks.
• Collaborate with Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, Product teams.

• Understanding of Bureau data.
• Mentoring and provide training to data scientists, analysts
• Brainstorm, research, learn & implement new/existing AI & Machine learning algorithms
• Build statistical models and algorithms using R / Python/Spark/Databricks
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams such as Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, Product etc
• Review of report/data quality to ensure zero error
• Expert in coding skill in R, Python or SAS and any data visualization tool
• Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative course
• Mathematical & statistical understanding of machine learning algorithms (GBM, Logistc Regression, Linear Regression, Deep Learning etc.)
