Job summary

Aditya Birla Capital Limited is seeking a Data Scientist to join Analytics-Business in Mumbai. The role involves leading end-to-end analytics, developing models, and communicating results to stakeholders.

You will work with Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), mentor junior data scientists, and apply ML techniques to BFSI problems while building scalable data frameworks. The candidate should have 4–6 years of analytics experience in BFSI and a strong quantitative background.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant analytics experience in banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, consultancies.
• Lead end to end execution of analytical requirements including model development, implementation & stakeholder communication.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms and statistical modelling to address problems predominantly in BFSI domain.
• Articulate complex data science models / analysis to relevant audience and effectively present the solution in a concise & neat manner.
• Design, prototype, build & maintain frameworks for consumption of machine learning models at scale.
• Perform feature engineering through extracting meaningful features from traditional and alternate data sources.
• Mentor team of data scientists
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, AWS / GCP / Azure
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative course

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop scalable ML models and dashboards for BFSI use cases.
