Job summary

NIQ is hiring a Software Engineer in Pune, India to join the Connect platform team. You will develop backend functionalities in a cloud-native environment, collaborating closely with the frontend team and cross-functional partners to expand NRPS scope.

The role requires strong Python, Oracle DB, and Java/Scala experience, with Databricks knowledge and excellent English communication. The team emphasizes CI/CD, agile practices, and a modern tech stack on Microsoft Azure with data-focused

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Excellent level of experience with Python and Oracle DB.
• Knowledge of Trino, Hive and Oracle is a plus.
• Experience in Scala and Databricks is appreciated.
• Excellent English communication skills across cross-functional teams and the business.
• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
