Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Data Developer with strong automotive domain knowledge to manage OEM parts data, ensure data quality, support customer implementations, and collaborate with global product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have experience working with automotive parts catalogues, estimation platforms, and customer-facing support in a SaaS environment.


Role & responsibilities


  • Maintain and enhance automotive parts databases for OEM customers.

  • Ensure high levels of data accuracy through research, validation, and quality checks.

  • Validate OEM parts, pricing, labour times, and vehicle information.

  • Coordinate with global product and data teams to improve data quality and product standards.

  • Prepare and manage parts price files (Excel, CSV, and Flat Files) for OEM partners.

  • Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for customer data requests and issue resolution.

  • Perform manual testing and validate parts, pricing, labour, and graphics after every release.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve data inconsistencies.

  • Identify defects and coordinate with development teams for resolution.

  • Support continuous improvements in product quality and data accuracy.

  • Resolve customer support tickets within agreed SLAs.

  • Support Customer Success and Sales teams with product-related queries.

  • Assist customers with non-VIN estimation and catalogue-related issues.

  • Configure customer accounts and onboard new users.

  • Support large-scale customer rollouts and implementations.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Global Data teams.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines.

  • Support new feature validation, product improvements, and customer implementations.


Required Skills

Automotive Domain


  • Knowledge of automotive parts catalogues (EPC) and repair processes.

  • Understanding of VIN & Non-VIN estimation systems.

  • Familiarity with parts, labour, paint, job codes, and supersessions.


Technical Skills


  • Experience with estimation platforms/Bodyshop systems.

  • Excel & PowerPoint proficiency.

  • Basic knowledge of APIs, integrations, and testing.


Analytical Skills


  • Data research, validation, and quality control.

  • Root cause analysis.

  • Manual Testing & QA (data/price validation and defect identification).


Customer & Project Management


  • Client relationship management (SPOC).

  • Ticket management & SLA adherence.

  • Sales support and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong prioritization and time management.


Qualifications & Experience


  • 5-9 years of relevant experience in Automotive Data Management, Automotive Aftermarket, Automotive SaaS, OEM parts catalogues, EPC systems, or automotive estimation platforms.

  • Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience in data validation, quality control, manual testing, defect identification, and root-cause analysis.
