Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced data analytics engineer to own data products for automotive solutions. Qualifications

• Minimum qualification listed: B.E/B.Tech in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Preferred: advanced degree in data science (M.E/M.Tech).
• Hands-on with automotive systems: HV, engine, driveline, ATS.
• Proficient in Python and PySpark for data manipulation.

Job description

• Manage engineering requirements, overseeing end-to-end project activities for efficient delivery.


• Develop metrics to assess data reliability, maintaining the integrity of our automotive solutions.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical requirements.


• Stay updated with automotive system advancements, especially HV system, engine, driveline, and ATS functionality.


• Ability to understand a problem statement and implement analytical solutions & techniques independently.


• Develop ML model for predictive & perceptive analysis.


• Enforce code version control best practices.


• Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis.


• Maintaining the complete documentation and version control for new releases.


• End to end ownership of data products and analytics tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: B.E, B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.


• Preferred: M.E, M.Tech in related fields of Data Science for advanced expertise.


• Hands-on experience with automotive systems, especially High Voltage system, engine, driveline, and ATS.


• Proficiency in scripting: Python, and PySpark for data manipulation.


• Expertise in visualization: PowerBI


• Experience with Databricks for cloud-based data processing and analysis.


• Practical ML application experience for automotive use cases.
