CT Automotive in Pune, India seeks a Commercial Engineer to strengthen costing and quotation capabilities. The role focuses on building accurate CBDs from CAD data and coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and supply chain to support commercial activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Cost Breakdown Details (CBDs) for parts, tooling and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, supply chain and commercial teams for quotation inputs.
• Use CAD data to extract dimensional and technical information for costing (no design responsibility).
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotes and technical specs for pricing accuracy.
• Assist in preparing and submitting customer quotations and cost proposals.
• Participate in pricing strategy meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records of quotes, assumptions and approvals for future reference.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives in costing and proposals.
• Contribute to cross-functional global OEM projects.

Skills:

• Proven experience in cost estimation, commercial support, or project coordination within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
