The global data center team ensures that all data center environments are designed, implemented, operated, and maintained to industry standards, optimized for efficient resource utilization, and reliably compliant with data protection and security requirements.

Job Summary

As a data center professional, you will install, maintain, monitor, and operate critical IT infrastructure—including servers, storage systems, and network equipment—to guarantee continuous system availability, optimal performance, and security.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor data center performance, capacity, power, cooling, and environmental conditions.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations on privacy and security.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and update strategic IT infrastructure plans.
• Support supplier relationships and understand their engagement processes and workflows.
• Manage incidents, problem tickets, and change controls in a complex data center environment to reduce risk.
• Work with engineers to design new data center facilities or modify existing ones to meet capacity needs.
• Optimize the utilization of data center spaces.
• Review operations to identify improvement opportunities or inefficiencies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required

• At least 5 years of experience in IT engineering, including extensive data center operations and strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating project tasks and events across multiple teams and departments.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance concepts and practices.
• Experience maintaining working relationships with vendors and service providers.
