RTX is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer in Bengaluru to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and BI solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and actionable insights, in a hybrid work setting.

The role emphasizes data architecture, cloud modernization, and mentoring junior engineers while delivering high-quality analytics products across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python for data processing and analytics engineering.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift/Synapse).
• Expertise in building data pipelines using Airflow, dbt, Azure Data Factory or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and schema design.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP) and scalable distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, version control, and automated testing in data environments.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and collaborate with stakeholders.

Overview

The Senior Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data systems, analytics pipelines, and business intelligence solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong analytical skills to transform complex data into reliable, actionable insights. The engineer collaborates with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, optimize performance, and enable advanced analytical outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and reporting.
