Job summary

RTX, a world-leading aerospace and defense company, seeks an experienced Manager (EE, Advanced Structures) in Bengaluru to lead electrical & electronics design, development, verification, and validation for NPI and sustenance.

You will manage a team of engineers, build strategic partnerships with customers, plan projects, budgets, and schedules, and drive process improvements while mitigating technical risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, or communications.
• 13+ years in industry with leadership in power electronic product design.
• Strong knowledge of DO-254 or equivalent and product qualification DO-160 or equivalent.
• Hands-on with documentation, presentations, and estimates.

Overview

In this role the Manager (EE, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities on electrical & electronics design, development, verification, and validation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages, develops, and motivates a team of electrical & electronics engineers to deliver engineering solutions.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
• Performs project Planning, develops and administers budget, schedules and performance standards.
• Performs resource planning, analyses hiring requirements, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance
• Leads departmental initiatives to enhance organization process improvements.
• Manages project technical risks and develops mitigation plan
• Performs Competency Assessment and Leadership development Review
• Strong affinity towards technology & innovation and drives new technology ideas & development
• Drive for continuous improvement.
• Sets goals and objectives for team members and conducts performance reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications with 13+ years of Industry experience with experience in leading power electronic product design and development projects
• Good knowledge on electronic product design and development process (DO-254 or equivalent), from requirement till delivery including product qualification (DO-160 or equivalent)
• strong technical background related product development to own the electrical design related to Analog and Mixed Signal , Low voltage power supply Design
• Hands on with document writing, Presentation, Project task efforts estimation, guiding team members.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications
