We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Azure, and Data Analytics to support enterprise data initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, identifying business insights, optimizing analytical models, and supporting strategic transformation programs within Banking and Financial Services environments. The role requires strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Azure technologies, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover actionable business insights.
• Lead data analysis activities and support business transformation and strategic initiatives.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and analytical datasets.
• Perform data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and quality assessments.
• Work with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and cloud-based analytical platforms.
• Design and enhance analytical models to support reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Partner with QA, Platform, Engineering, and DevOps teams for successful solution delivery.
• Support dashboarding, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Participate in data architecture discussions and contribute to data strategy initiatives.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through advanced data analysis techniques.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5 to 9 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Analytics roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL development, query optimization, and stored procedure analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud technologies.
• Experience working with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of OLTP systems, Data Warehouse concepts, and dimensional data models.
• Experience leading or contributing significantly to enterprise data analytics projects.
• Knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Analytical Frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, data structures, and analytical algorithms.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and convert findings into meaningful business recommendations.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including QA, Platform Delivery, Engineering, and DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Experience working within Banking or Financial Services environments is highly preferred.
