Job Description Data Analyst/Sr Data Analyst
Role Summary : We are seeking a Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Advanced Excel, along with Python and familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources. The role involves developing interactive Power BI dashboards, managing KPIs, and delivering actionable business insights. RCM/Healthcare experience is an added advantage.
This role requires a balance of technical skills, analytical thinking, and business understanding.
- Data Collection & Preparation : Extract data from multiple sources such as databases, Excel/CSV files, and operational systems | Extract and export reports from Practice Management (PM)/billing systems as data sources for reporting | Clean, validate, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and consistency | Automate recurring data extraction, preparation, and reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Analysis & Insights : Analyze trends, patterns, and variances to answer business questions | Track and analyze key RCM/operational metrics (e.g., AR aging, denials, collections) to surface trends and performance gaps | Perform root-cause and diagnostic analysis for performance gaps | Create meaningful metrics and KPIs aligned with business goals
- Reporting & Visualization : Design and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI) | Validate and reconcile reported figures against source systems to ensure reporting integrity | Present insights in a clear, concise, and stakeholder-friendly manner | Support leadership with periodic performance and executive reports
- Collaboration & Governance : Work with business teams to understand reporting requirements | Maintain documentation of data definitions, logic, and calculation methodology for consistency and audit ability | Support data governance, audit ability, and version control

Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Experience with BI tools, Power BI (dashboards, reports)
- Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, joins, aggregations), DAX, Power Query
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis (preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Good Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data preparation workflows
- Ability to extract and export reports from Practice Management (PM)/billing systems as data sources for BI dashboards
- Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate analysis, write and debug code/queries, and improve productivity
Analytical & Business Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to translate business problems into data questions
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to explain complex findings in simple language
Healthcare / RCM Background (Added Advantage)
- Experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Knowledge of Claims, AR, Denials, Payments, ERA/EOB, Encounters, Patients, and PM systems.Qualification (Education & Experience)

- Bachelors degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 35 years of experience as a data analyst or reporting role
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining reports or dashboards using Power BI
- Experience working with Excel-based datasets and operational dataWork Schedule
Work Schedule
This role requires working in the night shift to align with US business hours.
Typical working hours: [e.g.,6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST]
Candidates should be comfortable working in a night shift environment on a long-term basis.
