Aditya Birla Capital Digital is seeking an experienced legal professional to provide advisory and risk management across banking, lending, insurance, and fintech domains. You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements and ensure regulatory compliance for multiple business units.

Formación

• Strong understanding of banking, NBFC, lending, insurance, wealth management, fintech, and digital financial services.
• Knowledge of RBI regulations, IRDAI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, data privacy, and consumer protection rules.
• Experience in commercial contracting, regulatory advisory, product review, partnership structuring, dispute management, and legal risk assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advisory and risk management across lending, insurance, wealth management, digital platforms, payments, partnerships, and allied financial services.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and vet customer documentation, distribution agreements, partnership contracts, technology agreements, vendor contracts, outsourcing arrangements, NDAs, referral agreements, and strategic alliance documents.
• Advise business, product, credit, risk, operations, compliance, technology, and leadership on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Ensure compliance with RBI, IRDAI, Digital Lending Guidelines, data privacy, consumer protection norms, and internal governance standards.
• Support product development and digital initiatives by providing inputs on product structuring, disclosures, consent frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks across products, processes, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Manage legal aspects of secured and unsecured lending, security creation, recoveries, enforcement actions, title due diligence, and collateral matters.
• Handle disputes, customer grievances, claims, litigation, arbitration, recovery proceedings, and regulatory matters in coordination with stakeholders and counsels.
• Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry developments and advise on impact and actions.
• Drive standardization of legal documentation, contract management processes, policy frameworks, governance controls, and legal MIS.
• Coordinate with regulators, industry bodies, external law firms, consultants, and business partners on legal matters.

Role & responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory and risk management support across lending, insurance, wealth management, digital platforms, payments, partnerships, and allied financial services businesses.
• Review, draft, negotiate, and vet a wide range of agreements including customer documentation, distribution agreements, partnership contracts, technology agreements, vendor contracts, outsourcing arrangements, NDAs, referral agreements, and strategic alliance documents.
• Advise Business, Product, Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Technology, Collections, and Leadership teams on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, RBI regulations, IRDAI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, data privacy requirements, consumer protection norms, and internal governance standards.
• Support product development and digital initiatives by providing legal inputs on product structuring, customer journeys, disclosures, consent frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks across products, processes, partnerships, and strategic initiatives, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Manage legal aspects of secured and unsecured lending, security creation, recoveries, enforcement actions, title due diligence, and collateral‑related matters wherever applicable.
• Handle disputes, customer grievances, claims, litigation, arbitration, recovery proceedings, and regulatory matters in coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsels.
• Monitor changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry developments and proactively advise business teams on potential impact and required actions.
• Drive standardization of legal documentation, contract management processes, policy frameworks, governance controls, and legal MIS across businesses.
• Coordinate with regulators, industry bodies, external law firms, consultants, and business partners on legal and regulatory matters.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of banking, NBFC, lending, insurance, wealth management, fintech, and digital financial services businesses.
• Sound knowledge of applicable laws and regulations including RBI Guidelines, Digital Lending Guidelines, IRDAI Regulations, Contract Act, Consumer Protection Act, Information Technology Act, Data Privacy requirements, SARFAESI Act, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), Companies Act, and other relevant financial sector regulations.
• Experience in commercial contracting, regulatory advisory, product review, partnership structuring, dispute management, and legal risk assessment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide solution‑oriented legal advice while balancing risk and commercial objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, work under tight timelines, and operate effectively in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.
