Qualifications

• Sound understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.

Role & responsibilities

• Administer and manage project contracts from award through closure.
• Provide contractual guidance to project and management teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Lead preparation, assessment, and negotiation of Extension of Time (EOT), variation, disruption, delay, and cost claims.
• Develop claim strategies and ensure proper documentation and substantiation of contractual entitlements.
• Handle arbitration, dispute resolution, adjudication, and related legal proceedings in coordination with external counsels.
• Review and interpret contract conditions, identify risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support tender reviews and contract negotiations from a commercial and contractual perspective.
• Monitor contractual compliance and ensure protection of the company's commercial interests.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders on contractual and claim-related matters.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree in Engineering with relevant experience in Contract Administration and Commercial Management.
• 1925 years of experience in Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or Real Estate sectors.
• Proven expertise in Claims Management, Arbitration, Contract Negotiation, and Dispute Resolution.
• Sound understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and contractual drafting capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage high-value contractual and arbitration matters.
