Job summary

Koimoi.com in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Content Writer to craft theatrical and OTT reviews for Bollywood, Hollywood and regional cinema, and to write entertainment articles for Koimoi.com (Bollywood Reviews is a must). Based in Mumbai, you will cover theatrical/OTT reviews monthly and contribute to content strategy.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, excellent English, and WordPress with SEO/SMM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in reviewing movies & writing content.
• Solid command over the English language, vocabulary & grammar.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and familiarity with SEO/SMM is a must.
• Flexible to work in shifts and at odd times for press shows/events.
• Must be able to proofread grammar & language before publishing.
• Know your readers and create content that resonates with them.

Responsibilities

• Cover theatrical/OTT reviews on a monthly basis.
• Write entertainment articles for Koimoi.com per targets & categories.
• Cover media events in Mumbai and travel to other cities as required.
• Write online reviews for a national/international platform and share links with byline.
• Maintain good PR contacts and be active on media invite lists.
• Conduct cast & crew interviews when required and participate in media events.
• Generate creative ideas to expand Koimoi's content.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Content Writer based in Mumbai who can write theatrical and OTT reviews for Bollywood, Hollywood & Regional movies (Hindi dubbed/subtitles) and entertainment articles for Koimoi.com (Bollywood Reviews is a must).

Someone who eats, drinks and breathes Entertainment! Along with that, a keen interest in TV & OTT space is a must.

Job Description:

• Cover theatrical/OTT reviews on a monthly basis
• Write entertainment articles for Koimoi.com as per the assigned targets & categories.
• Cover Media Events in Mumbai and be willing to travel to other cities for media events as required.
• Should have written online reviews for a National/International platform of repute (kindly share the review links with the byline)
• Should have good contacts with PRs and be a regular on their media invite list
• Willing to conduct cast & crew interviews if required (video/audio/print) and should be a regular on their media invite list.
• Come up with creative ideas to expand the content on Koimoi.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in reviewing movies & writing content.
• Should have a solid command over the English language, vocabulary & grammar.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and familiarity with SEO/SMM is a must.
• Should be flexible to work in shifts as per the roster and at odd times as required for press shows/events.
• Should be quick to understand and prioritize content that matters.
• To be a great writer, you need to be an amazing editor first. Should be able to proofread grammar & language before publishing.
• You should know your readers! You should know who you’re serving in order to cook a delicious meal.
• Cut, copy & paste only look good on a keyboard. You should be able to create content that works.
• Experience with video content will be an added advantage.
