Job summary

Bristlecone, Ltd. in Pune District is seeking a skilled SAP Consultant proficient in SAP MM and Ariba SCC. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 6 years of experience in SAP MM, alongside knowledge in Ariba SCC, capable of conducting design workshops and user acceptance testing.

In this role, you'll gather requirements, create documentation, and ensure that system integration runs smoothly while assisting in the testing phases. A proactive approach and effective communication skills are critical to success in this position.

Qualifications

Job description

Should have 2 to 6 years of SAP MM, SAP QM PP implementation or support experience

Should have 1 to 3 years of SAP Ariba SCC experience.

Must have worked on at least 1 support project at various levels related to SAP MM

Must possess at least 1 end to end implementation experience related to SAP Ariba SCC

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Should have sound knowledge and experience related to SAP MM procurement cycle PO Standard, Subcontracting and consignment to invoicing and payment

Should have sound knowledge and experience on different SAP MM transactional documents like PO, Order Confirmation, ASN, GR, Scheduling agreement, release orders, return orders etc.

Should have knowledge and carried out configurations in SAP MM for all above processes and transaction documents including output type, source of supply, follow on document creation etc.

Ability to conduct design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams with support of senior team members

Ability to conduct User Acceptance testing and Business user training sessions with support of senior team members

Ability to work on business processes scenarios, implement different system configurations in SAP MM, QM, WM, IM and other set up required to build integrated Ariba SCC system with SAP ERP

Should be able to write functional specifications for different developments and able to explain requirements to technical team members.

Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP and data flow technologies like proxies, IDocs, webservices.

Good to have knowledge about functionalities like MRP, Supplier Managed Inventory Quality notification and review.

Should have good knowledge about overall procurement cycle process and impact on inventory, quality and planning.

Should know processes for one industry minimum, e.g., high tech, discrete manufacturing, manufacturing, pharma, automotive etc.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Carry out or support requirement gathering, customer demos and workshops and documentation.

Carry out system design based on agreed requirement, unit testing, cutover and drive hyper care support.

Support and drive system integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues that are raised and escalated by support team in a timely manner

Ensure that issues are informed and escalated to appropriate people, team lead or next support level, in a timely manner

Keep himself up to date with latest features and functionalities released in the different quarterly releases of SAP Ariba.

Assist team members to achieve shared goals

Adhere to all the standards and procedures set by the Quality department
