Job summary

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP in Mumbai seeks a Senior Consultant for Python automation testing to own automation framework development and enhance scalable applications. You will work with a QA Automation team in a data-driven tech environment leading automation efforts.

Ideal candidates have 6-9 years of hands-on Python experience, strong automation tooling skills (Playwright/Selenium), and a solid understanding of CI/CD, cloud-native, and microservices. A Bachelor's in CS/IT is required.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of total experience.
• Own automation framework development with Python automation testing.
• Designe, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality applications and services.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with automation technologies such as Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience building and maintaining reusable automation frameworks and tooling.
• Understanding of API-driven architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud-native development and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of software design principles, code quality, testing strategies, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure and automation layers.
• Experience in Agile delivery with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Payment domain experience is a plus.
