Job summary

Epam Systems in Pune is looking for an experienced Python Automation Test Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, Playwright, and PyTest. The role is hybrid, based in Pune, with multiple testing disciplines across web apps and APIs.

You will collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
• Experience with PyTest, unittest, or other Python testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and REST APIs.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, Azure Boards, TestRail).
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
