Job summary

Atos Group is seeking an experienced mainframe specialist for positions in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai. The role requires 10+ years in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS DB/DC, and related technologies with hands-on batch and online processing and migration experience to Raincode/microfocus platforms.

Strong communication, independent work capability, and familiarity with SDLC and Agile practices are preferred. Notice period: immediate to 30 days.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills – COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS DB/DC, CICS.
• Hands-on mainframe experience with batch as well as online processing.
• Experience in mainframe re-hosting/migration to Raincode/microfocus platform.

Key Skills & Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in Core Mainframe Skills – COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM,IMS DB/DC,CICS.
• Mainframe experience with hands-on knowledge in Batch as well as online is Must
• Nice to have IMS DB/DC, Easytrieve, Assembler and Datacom.
• REXX and CLIST knowledge will be added advantage.
• Should have experience working in mainframe re-hosting/migration projects to Raincode/microfocus platform.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience in Raincode platform to make code changes,compile,debug and unit-test batch and online.
• Should be able to perform impact analysis and understand technical design.
• Should have experience on working on Enhancement projects and fair knowledge of SDLC process.
• Perform SIT/UAT defect analysis and fix the same.
• Should be aware of Agile methodologies
• Telecom domain knowledge is added advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Should have ability to work independently
