Job summary

Sattva in Delhi, India is seeking a senior strategy consultant to own a portfolio of funder conversations across domestic foundations, international philanthropies, and CSR from proposal to close. You will lead the preparation of client proposals and advisory decks, and support roundtables and flagship events.

The role requires 6–8 years in strategic consulting for science and technology initiatives, strong analytical and financial acumen, and proven stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in strategic consulting for science/tech-led initiatives.
• Experience with innovation management at research institutes, accelerators, or venture studios.
• PM and stakeholder engagement across corporates, consulting, social enterprises, or development agencies.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with hands-on data analysis experience.
• Understanding of India and global innovation/science research landscape.
• Client-facing with proven stakeholder management and advisory delivery.

Job description

ROLE

• Own a portfolio of active funder conversations across domestic foundations, international philanthropies, and CSR from proposal to close.
• Lead preparation of client proposals, Innovation Scan briefs and advisory decks.
• Support anchoring roundtable series, flagship events and other marketing channels.
• Manage follow‑through on warm funder contacts to ensure relationships are maintained.
• Lead delivery of innovation engagements, conducting TRL assessments, synthesizing funder‑ready impact briefs, and presenting findings to client stakeholders.
• Build and manage Impact Measurement Frameworks by designing custom metrics, milestone tracking systems, and annual review structures.
• Support Capital Raise Advisory – structuring term sheets, facilitating funder‑innovator conversations, and managing deal timelines.
• Co‑author research papers, policy briefs, and long‑form blog content.
• Contribute to building the practice’s proprietary methodologies.
• Monitor the Indian and global innovation philanthropy landscape.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6–8 years experience in strategic consulting for science and technology‑led initiatives, innovation management at research institutes, accelerators, or venture studios.
• Project management and stakeholder engagement experience across corporates, consulting firms, social enterprises, or development agencies.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with hands‑on data analysis experience.
• Solid understanding of the innovation and science‑based research landscape in India and globally.
• Client‑facing experience with a proven track record in stakeholder management and delivering strategic advisory.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and presentation skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
