Job summary

Sattva is seeking a consultant to support a portfolio of funder conversations across domestic foundations, international philanthropies, and CSR from proposal to close. You will assist in preparing client proposals and advisory decks, and help anchor roundtables, flagship events, and other marketing channels.

You will also manage follow-through on funder contacts, contribute to innovation engagements, and update impact frameworks with metrics and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in strategic consulting for science/tech led initiatives or innovation management.
• Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with hands-on data analysis.

ROLE

• Assist the team in managing a portfolio of active funder conversations across domestic foundations, international philanthropies, and CSR from proposal to close.
• Assist in preparation of client proposals and advisory decks.
• Support anchoring roundtable series, flagship events, and other marketing channels.
• Manage follow‑through on funder contacts to ensure relationships are maintained.
• Assist in delivery of innovation engagements, conduct TRL assessments, synthesize funder‑ready impact briefs, and present findings to client stakeholders.
• Manage impact measurement frameworks by updating custom metrics, milestone tracking systems, and annual review structures.
• Support capital raise advisory, including structuring term sheets, facilitating funder‑innovator conversations, and managing deal timelines.
• Conduct research for thought leadership and knowledge creation.
• Contribute to building the practice’s proprietary methodologies.
• Research the Indian and global innovation philanthropy landscape.
• Understand analytics objectives, project context, and identify relevant data to achieve objectives.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to extract meaningful insights for client problems.
• Present data insights concisely using appropriate visualizations.
• Practice active listening in internal and external discussions.
• Ensure proactive and regular communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Build credibility with stakeholders through effective, on‑time delivery.
• Assist in preparing for and coordinating meetings, workshops, and convenings with key partners.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2–4 years of experience in strategic consulting for science and technology‑led initiatives, innovation management at research institutes, accelerators, or venture studios.
• Project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with hands‑on data analysis experience.
