Job description

We are seeking a Senior HR & Payroll Consultant (ERPNext) with 5+ years of experience in ERPNext HR & Payroll implementation, support, and rollouts. The ideal candidate should have expertise in payroll, statutory compliance, HR processes, employee lifecycle management, payroll integrations, and strong client-facing and business analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support ERPNext HR & Payroll modules based on business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document HR and Payroll business processes and recommend ERPNext solutions.
• Configure and manage HR modules, including Employee Management, Leave Management, Attendance, Recruitment, Performance Management, Employee Self-Service (ESS), and Payroll.
• Configure payroll structures, salary components, salary slips, salary structures, tax settings, payroll periods, payroll entries, and statutory compliance as per business requirements.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including payroll validation, salary generation, deductions, reimbursements, loans, advances, bonuses, overtime, and final settlements.
• Support country-specific payroll localization and statutory compliance requirements wherever applicable.
• Support end-to-end ERPNext implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, payroll automation, and report development.
• Integrate Payroll with Attendance, Leave, Timesheets, Biometric Systems, Finance, and Accounting modules.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot functional HR and Payroll issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare functional documentation, user manuals, payroll process documentation, and SOPs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in ERPNext HR & Payroll implementation and consulting.

• Hands-on experience in payroll configuration, salary structures, salary components, payroll entries, payroll processing, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in HR and Payroll process mapping, workflow configuration, and system implementation.
• Good understanding of payroll concepts such as earnings, deductions, taxes, loans, advances, reimbursements, overtime, gratuity, and final settlements.
• Knowledge of country-specific payroll compliance and statutory regulations is preferred.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Frappe Framework and ERPNext customizations.
• Experience integrating ERPNext HR & Payroll with Finance, Accounting, Attendance, Time Tracking, and Biometric systems.
• Exposure to workflow automation, custom reports, dashboards, and payroll analytics.
• Experience with ERPNext version upgrades, payroll migrations, and master data migration.
• Knowledge of multi-company and multi-country payroll implementations.
• ERPNext/Frappe certification is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MBA in Human Resources or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• ERPNext/Frappe certification is an added advantage.
