Crayons Academy for Skills Excellence (CASE) is seeking a senior student counsellor to lead our counselling team. You will mentor staff and guide students toward peak performance in study abroad admissions and athletic programs.

You will report to the CEO, collaborate on each student's case, and stay current with admissions for India and abroad. 5–7 years' experience and an undergraduate or postgraduate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Senior counselling role with 5–7 years' experience in education or study abroad counselling.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Experience building and leading a counselling team.
• Familiarity with CUET, SAT, IPMAT and college admissions processes.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead the college research and applications team.
• Interact with parents/students to onboard for CASE programs (academic/athletic admissions, SAT, AP, CUET, Boards coaching).
• Conduct counselling sessions to onboard students and guide profiles.
• Mentor students to achieve college admission goals through profile-building activities.
• Coordinate admissions with sports recruitment partners and college officers in India and abroad.
• Stay current with Indian and international college admission processes and financial aid developments.
• Submit applications via Common App, UCAS, Private Indian universities and direct portals.

We're on the lookout for a self-driven individual with a love for guiding and mentoring students and a knack for student counselling to propel students towards their peak performance.

Company Profile:

Crayons Academy for Skills Excellence (CASE) is a Study Abroad Consultancy specialising in CollegeSports Admission and Academic Admissions for students who seek admission to universities in the USA, the U.K., Europe, Canada, Australia, and India.

We have partnerships and representations for various schools, colleges, and sports academies around the world, and we organise summer sports camps, summer programs in universities and exchange programs for schools and universities.

We are looking for a self-starter with entrepreneurial thinking, a bias towards action and a passion for sports to help students achieve their full potential. This is a senior position; our expectations will be for you to build and lead the counselling team. You will be directly reporting to the CEO, collaborating on each student's case.

• Well-versed in the study abroad process and higher education options in India and abroad.
• Familiarity with college entrance exams such as CUET, SAT, IPMAT, etc.
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Well-versed in MS Office 365
• Adept at objection handling, counselling, telephonic conversations, and student-parent counselling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Building and leading the college research and applications team.
• Parent/student interactions to onboard students for all programs offered by CASE, including academic or athletic admissions for higher studies abroad, SAT, AP, CUET, or Boards coaching.
• Interacting with prospective students and parents and conducting basic or detailed counselling sessions to onboard students.
• Mentoring students to achieve excellence in academics for their college admission goals through profile-building activities throughout their high school.
• Ensure student admissions to colleges by coordinating with sports recruitment partners, scouting agencies, and college admission officers in India and abroad.
• Stay current with Indian and International college admission processes and requirements, school programs, majors, and courses, and developments in education and financial aid.
• Application submission proficiency in Common App, UCAS, Private Indian universities, and direct application portals for other countries.
• Parent/student interactions for continuous monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with admission counsellors, school counsellors and other stakeholders in the education ecosystem.

Salary: Remuneration will be commensurate with knowledge and experience
