Job summary

Atos SE is seeking a Senior Mainframe professional in India who brings 10–15 years of in-depth experience with COBOL, DB2, JCL and IMS DB/DC. You will design and execute robust test scenarios, translate complex requirements into precise test cases, and coordinate across onsite-offshore teams to ensure timely delivery. Automotive domain knowledge is a plus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders and delivering high-quality results within a dynamic, ESG-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Mainframe development and testing with expertise in IMS DB/DC.
• Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC.
• High proficiency in IMS DB/DC with good knowledge of SQL queries.
• Exposure to onsite–offshore coordination.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Proven experience in designing, reviewing, and executing test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong skills in test data identification and data mining in DB.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, users, and stakeholders, ensuring timely deliverables and customer satisfaction.
• Automotive domain knowledge would be an added advantage.
