Vittal Furnitech is a manufacturer of Panel Based Modular Furniture System using a variety of core materials. They provide an economical range of residential furniture in DIY format as well as customized home interior solutions. With a strict quality control process, they also offer commercial interior solutions and steel fabrication for specialized furniture.

Vittal Furnitech is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman/Engineer with specialization in CAD/CAM software operation to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed drawings for various joinery projects using CAD/CAM software. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of high-quality joinery work for our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create detailed and accurate joinery drawings based on client specifications and project requirements.
2. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure drawings meet project goals.
3. Review and adjust drawings to accommodate any changes or modifications during the project.
4. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
5. Assist in the selection of materials and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
6. Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.
7. Develop and write CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
8. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to generate accurate machine code.
9. Set up and calibrate CNC machines.
10. Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.
11. Verify part dimensions using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
12. Ensure manufactured parts meet specifications and tolerances.
13. Optimize tool paths and machining strategies to reduce cycle time and material waste.
14. Improve machine utilization and suggest process improvements.

Will provide necessary training to gain expertise in panel-based processing CNC machine and software. Candidates with experience in operating CNC machines in allied industries can apply.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman or similar role.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
3. Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Cad+T, 3ds Max or other design software will be an added advantage.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating drawings.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Knowledge of joinery materials and techniques.
