Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented 2D Draughtsman to join our interior design team. This role involves creating highly accurate and detailed 2D drawings for custom-made furniture and interior modules, ensuring smooth execution at site. The candidate will work closely with the design and execution teams to translate concepts into precise technical drawings that guide on-site installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for custom furniture and interior modules (wardrobes, kitchens, TV units, etc.)
• Convert SketchUp models into detailed 2D drawings using Layout
• Create:
  • Plan views
  • Elevations
  • Sections
  • Detailed joinery drawings
• Ensure all drawings include accurate dimensions, materials, finishes, and construction details
• Coordinate with the design team to understand custom modules and detailing requirements
• Support the execution/site team with clear, practical drawings for installation
• Revise drawings based on site feedback and changes

Software Requirements

• Mandatory:
  • SketchUp
  • Layout (for detailed drawing sheets and documentation)
• Good to Have:
  • AutoCAD (2D drafting – added advantage)

Technical Requirements

• Modular furniture systems
• Carpentry and joinery detailing
