Overview

Furnigence LLP is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Detailer with expertise in joinery and woodworking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating precise technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication details for custom woodwork, furniture, and interior fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for custom joinery, furniture, and woodworking projects.
• Develop shop drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and production teams to ensure accuracy in design and execution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, woodworking techniques, and material specifications.
• Modify and revise existing drawings as per client feedback and production needs.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
• Maintain organized project documentation, including revisions and approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of other design software like SketchUp or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong understanding of joinery, woodworking techniques, and furniture manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience in material selection, joinery detailing, and hardware specifications.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a furniture manufacturing or joinery firm.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and woodworking machinery is an advantage.
• Familiarity with BIM software (Revit) and 3D rendering tools is a plus.
