Job summary

Grace & Space is seeking a Modular Kitchen Designer to create working drawings, elevations, and production-ready detailing for modular kitchens and furniture. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is required, and training on Cabinet Vision will be provided.

You will prepare shop drawings, specify materials, coordinate with the design team (including Canada), and revise drawings based on feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Noida office.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and interior shop drawings.
• Experience in kitchen, cabinet, furniture or interior fit-out drawings.
• Ability to read architectural/interior design drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and dimension accuracy.
• Knowledge of cabinet/carcass construction basics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop working drawings floor plans, elevations, sections and cabinet/carcass details for modular kitchens and furniture in Cabinet Vision software.
• Learn and use Cabinet Vision software with full training provided.
• Detail base, wall, tall, corner and loft units, along with shutters, drawers, shelves and countertop layouts.
• Specify materials and hardware as per design.
• Read and interpret architectural/interior drawings to ensure design accuracy.
• Make drawing revisions based on client, design or production feedback.
• Coordinate with our design team (including our Canada design team) for clarifications and updates.

About the Role

We're hiring a Modular Kitchen Designer to create working drawings, elevations, and production-ready detailing for modular kitchens, wardrobes and other modular furniture. If you're comfortable with AutoCAD and have worked on kitchen, furniture, or interior fit-out drawings, this role is a great fit. Training on Cabinet Vision software will be provided you don't need to know it already.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop working drawings floor plans, elevations, sections and cabinet/carcass details for modular kitchens and furniture in cabinet vision software
• Learn and use Cabinet Vision software (full training provided)
• Detail base, wall, tall, corner and loft units, along with shutters, drawers, shelves and countertop layouts
• Specify materials (plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminate, veneer, PU) and hardware (hinges, channels, baskets, handles) as per design
• Read and interpret architectural/interior drawings to ensure design accuracy
• Make drawing revisions based on client, design or production feedback
• Coordinate with our design team (including our Canada design team) for clarifications and updates

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and interior shop drawings
• Experience in kitchen, cabinet, furniture, or interior fit-out drawings
• Ability to read architectural/interior design drawings
• Understanding of cabinet/carcass construction basics
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dimensions and specifications

Good-to-Have Skills (not mandatory nice if you already have these)

• Knowledge of kitchen hardware and materials (laminate, veneer, PU, etc.)
• Software knowledge - If a candidate has worked on Pytha, MS Excel, cabinet vision, revit, infurnia, KD max would be excellent.

Education

Any Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
