We are looking for a talented and curious Senior Communications Specialist to join our Bengaluru studio. In this role, you will work focused on one of our key client engagements within the healthcare and life sciences sector - shaping and delivering high-impact, humancentred communication and engagement strategies that help large, complex organisations understand change, build trust, and drive adoption.

As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will drive change through clear, compelling narratives that resonate with senior leaders, stakeholders, and end users alike. Your work bridges strategy and execution—making transformation tangible, relevant, and meaningful in people’s daytoday experience.

Operating at the intersection of user, business, and technology, you influence and materialize experience strategies, lead delivery, and play a critical role in ensuring adoption and value realisation - making Designit a differentiator in transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of structured communication and engagement approaches that support transformation, experience improvement, and organisational change.
• Translate complex technical, operational, and process initiatives into plain‑language, user‑centred storytelling, clearly articulating: what’s changing, why it matters, how it helps, what it means for different audiences
• Ensure communications are outcome‑focused, reinforcing tangible improvements and progress rather than abstract intent
• Design and deliver multi‑channel communications, including leadership updates, campaigns, town halls, roadshows, briefings, and targeted engagement initiatives.
• Produce high‑quality content across formats such as: executive narratives and presentations, FAQs and playbooks, updates, campaigns, and engagement assets
• Develop reusable communication assets and frameworks that support consistency and scalability over time.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration from concept to implementation.
• Identify and shape new opportunities within client engagements, contributing to proposals, upsell, and expansion of Designit’s role.
• Understand the client context, business objectives, and user needs that frame each engagement, and help identify new opportunities within existing client relationships by thinking beyond the current scope of work.
• Actively contribute to Design's design community and Bengaluru studio culture - sharing inspiration, raising topics, supporting proposals and case studies, and participating in wellbeing and culture initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise communications, engagement, or change communications within large, complex organisations.
• Strong ability to translate technical, digital, or process change into clear, compelling, human‑centred narratives – ideally within a consultancy, agency, or design‑led environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, influencing senior audiences and aligning cross‑functional teams
• Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage ambiguity, and drive progress in complex environments
• Commercially aware - you understand that great design must connect to business value and client outcomes, and you can estimate and plan your own work effectively.
