Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in Commercial Credit Analysis or related fields.
• Strong end-to-end financial spreading experience.
• Experience with covenant monitoring.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent knowledge of coverage, leverage, profitability, and liquidity ratios.
• U.S. Commercial Banking experience is mandatory.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end financial spreading of borrower financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Analyze borrower financial performance, trends, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and debt servicing capacity.
• Calculate and interpret key commercial lending ratios.
• Identify covenant breaches, exceptions, deteriorating financial trends, and potential credit risks.
• Review loan agreements and credit approval terms to understand financial covenants, thresholds, reporting requirements, and testing frequency.

Job Title: Senior Commercial Credit Analyst

Experience: 7+ Years

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst with strong end-to-end experience in financial spreading, commercial credit analysis, and covenant monitoring to support a leading U.S. Banking Client. The role will involve analyzing borrower financial statements, spreading financials, calculating and interpreting credit ratios, monitoring financial covenants, and supporting ongoing credit risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end financial spreading of borrower financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.
• Analyze borrower financial performance, trends, liquidity, profitability, leverage, and debt servicing capacity.
• Calculate and interpret key commercial lending ratios.
• Identify covenant breaches, exceptions, deteriorating financial trends, and potential credit risks.
• Review loan agreements and credit approval terms to understand financial covenants, thresholds, reporting requirements, and testing frequency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–12 years of experience in Commercial Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis, Credit Underwriting, or Commercial Lending.
• Strong end-to-end financial spreading experience.
• Hands-on experience with commercial loan covenant monitoring.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent knowledge of coverage, leverage, profitability, and liquidity ratios.
• Experience analyzing borrower financial performance and creditworthiness.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending and credit risk processes.
• U.S. Commercial Banking / U.S. Commercial Lending experience is mandatory.
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting U.S. Commercial Banking / Middle Market / Corporate Lending portfolios.
• Experience with financial spreading and covenant monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of LoanIQ, Moody's Credit Lens, AFS, or similar commercial lending/credit platforms.
• Experience handling annual reviews, loan renewals, covenant exceptions, and credit risk reporting.
