Job summary

Stratacent is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support day-to-day ABL collateral operations, including borrowing base review, collateral analysis, and maintaining transactions within the William Stucky system.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in Asset-Based Lending, Commercial Lending Operations, or Credit Operations, with strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in Asset-Based Lending, Commercial Lending Operations, Credit Operations, Collateral Management, or Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of ABL processes, collateral analysis, and borrowing base calculations.
• Experience reviewing and reconciling client financial and collateral information.
• Knowledge of collateral eligibility and ineligible collateral.
• Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile borrowing base information and collateral balances.
• Analyze collateral supporting ABL facilities and validate reported data.
• Maintain ABL transactions and collateral records in the William Stucky system.
• Support investor settlements and related reconciliations.

Job description

The role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day ABL collateral operations, including borrowing base review and reconciliation, collateral analysis, identification of ineligible collateral, investor settlement processing, and maintenance of ABL transactions within the William Stucky system.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Asset-Based Lending, Commercial Lending Operations, Collateral Management, Credit Operations, and Borrowing Base Analysis, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve collateral and reporting discrepancies.

Primary Responsibilities

Collateral & Borrowing Base Analysis

• Review and reconcile client borrowing base information.
• Analyze collateral supporting ABL facilities and validate reported balances.
• Review borrowing base information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate ineligible collateral for borrowing base purposes based on established eligibility criteria.
• Identify discrepancies between client-reported information, collateral records, and system data.
• Investigate and coordinate resolution of collateral and borrowing base exceptions.
• Perform quality checks on collateral and borrowing base data.

ABL Operations & System Maintenance

• Maintain and update ABL transaction and collateral information in the William Stucky system.
• Ensure system records accurately reflect client collateral and borrowing base information.
• Perform required system updates and maintenance activities.
• Support operational processing associated with ABL facilities.
• Maintain accurate transaction, collateral, and supporting documentation.

Investor Settlements & Reconciliation

• Support investor settlement processing related to ABL transactions.
• Review transaction and settlement information for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve settlement discrepancies in coordination with relevant teams.
• Support recurring reconciliations and operational reporting.

Stakeholder Management & Operational Controls

• Coordinate with clients, Credit, Operations, Relationship Management, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate records and evidence supporting ABL operational activities.
• Support recurring reporting, quality control, audit, and operational review requirements.
• Ensure activities are completed within established SLAs and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve collateral review, borrowing base reconciliation, and ABL operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in Asset-Based Lending (ABL), Commercial Lending, Credit Operations, Collateral Management, or Banking Operations.
• Strong understanding of ABL processes, collateral analysis, and borrowing base calculations.
• Experience reviewing and reconciling client financial and collateral information.
• Strong understanding of collateral eligibility and ineligible collateral.
• Experience identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial and collateral data.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of financial and collateral information.
• Ability to manage recurring operational deadlines and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• William Stucky platform experience – strongly preferred.
• U.S. Commercial Banking / ABL Operations experience – strongly preferred.
• Experience with borrowing base certificates and collateral eligibility analysis.
• Knowledge of ABL collateral monitoring and reporting processes.
• Experience supporting investor settlements and reconciliations.
• Understanding of commercial lending and credit operations.
• Experience working with U.S. banking clients and cross-functional Credit, Operations, and Relationship Management teams.
