Job summary

Capco seeks a Senior Collibra Product Owner / Technical SME in Bengaluru to lead on the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud platform. The candidate will act as the primary technical and product decision-maker, configuring workflows, ingestions, and APIs while owning the product backlog and governance processes.

The role requires hands-on Collibra expertise across DIC, DGC, BPMN workflows, and regulated environments, with independent design leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical and product decision-maker for the Collibra platform.
• Independently lead technical design conversations with engineering, data governance, and business stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end CR intake and prioritization: triage requests, assess feasibility, manage backlog.
• Review and validate solution designs; propose options with risk/benefit trade-offs.
• Ensure governance over connected systems, ingestion sources, data quality, lineage, audits.
• Partner with Assurance / Second Line stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.
• Define and evolve the Collibra operating model as the platform matures.
• Hands-on configuration of workflows, metadata models, ingestion connectors, and search integrations.

Senior Collibra Product Owner / Technical SME

Role Summary

We are hiring a Senior Collibra Product Owner who is also a hands-on Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC) platform. This is not a traditional, non-technical Product Owner role the candidate must be able to independently configure, troubleshoot, and lead technical design conversations on the platform, while also owning the product backlog, change request (CR) intake/prioritization, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical and product decision-maker for the Collibra platform.
• Independently lead technical design conversations with engineering, data governance, and business stakeholders no reliance on a separate technical lead.
• Own end-to-end CR intake and prioritization: triage incoming requests, assess technical feasibility, and manage the backlog.
• Review and validate solution designs; propose implementation options with clearly articulated risk/benefit trade-offs.
• Ensure governance and control over connected systems and consumed feeds/APIs (ingestion sources, integrations), data quality rules, lineage, and evidence/audit expectations.
• Partner with Assurance / Second Line of Defense (risk, compliance, audit) stakeholders to ensure the platform meets regulatory and control requirements.
• Define and evolve the Collibra operating model (roles, workflows, standards) as the platform matures.
• Hands-on configuration of workflows (BPMN), metadata models, ingestion connectors, and search/API integrations - not just oversight.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Collibra experience (non-negotiable - no substitutions with adjacent tools).

Deep hands-on expertise across:

• Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC)
• Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC) administration and configuration
• Workflow configuration and design (e.g., BPMN-based workflows)
• Operating model design and implementation
• Metadata ingestion, lineage, and integration patterns
• Collibra Search API and related integration touchpoints
• Proven experience independently leading technical solution discussions (not just facilitating/PM-style involvement).
• Experience working in regulated environments, with direct exposure to Assurance / Second Line stakeholders (risk, compliance, audit) strongly preferred.
