Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud / Platform Engineer to manage and operate a scalable, secure, and highly available AWS‑based infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on ownership of multi‑account AWS environments, Kubernetes (EKS) platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and production operations. You will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Data teams to ensure reliable and compliant systems.

AWS Infrastructure & Account Management

• Manage and operate multiple AWS accounts (Product, Management, Internal)
• Design, configure, and maintain:
  • VPCs, subnets, route tables
  • Security Groups and Network ACLs
  • Cross‑account IAM roles and permissions
• Securely manage VPC peering between AWS accounts
• Ensure best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimization
• Administer and support Amazon EKS clusters
• Manage and operate:
  • Nginx Ingress
  • Web and worker pods
  • Core platform services (ArgoCD, monitoring tools, etc.)
• Ensure cluster stability, scaling, resilience, and high availability

CI/CD & Deployment Automation

• Support and maintain deployment pipelines using:
  • GitLab CI/CD
  • ArgoCD (GitOps model)
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to:
  • Automate application deployments
  • Manage releases, rollbacks, and environment consistency
  • Improve deployment reliability and speed

Networking, Access & Connectivity

• Configure and manage AWS ELB / ALB for application traffic
• Support secure connectivity through:
  • VPN solutions (e.g., Arachnys VPN)
  • Cross‑account and internal access
• Ensure controlled and secure access for:
  • Engineering and DevOps teams
  • Data teams
  • External integrations and partners

Data & Storage Services

• Manage and monitor Amazon RDS (MySQL)
• Manage and monitor Amazon S3 for application storage

Observability & Monitoring

• Implement and manage observability solutions using:
  • Prometheus for metrics
  • Splunk for centralized logging
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA)

Security & Compliance

• Enforce cloud security best practices including:
  • IAM least‑privilege access
