We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect to design, implement and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence through formal, documented handovers and driving adoption of modern cloud technologies.
Your work will have a significant impact on customer satisfaction, cost baselines, and overall profitability. By delivering robust architectures and clear operational frameworks, you will enable the organisation to scale confidently while maintaining reliability and compliance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate recent, hands‑on experience with leading public cloud platforms, mainly Amazon Web Services, with a strong command of container orchestration technologies like AmazonEKS, Google Kubernetes Engine, Tanzu Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift. Proficiency with infrastructureascode (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (JenkinsCI), and related DevOps tools (Artifactory, HashiCorpVault, Git) is essential. Familiarity with monitoring solutions (Prometheus), database platforms (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra), and collaboration tools (Atlassian stack) is highly valued. While not required, exposure to private cloud and on‑premises technologies – such as VMware, virtualization, server, storage and networking infrastructure, Linux‑based virtual servers, VMwareESXi hosts, disaster recovery using infrastructure-as-code, and hybrid environments including vSphere, OpenShift, and DataStax Cassandra migration – will be considered an advantage.
